Healing, Reinvention, and the Human Experience
I care deeply about people who are moving through change, carrying more than others can see, or trying to find their way back to themselves. I have long been drawn to those who are quiet, overlooked, or unheard, and my work is rooted in helping people feel more seen, more steady, and more connected to their own voice.
Through both speaking and visual art, I explore healing, identity, reinvention, and the ways environment influences emotional wellbeing, informed by my ongoing interest in neuroscience and the emerging literature on art, perception, and human experience.
I bring a rare perspective at the intersection of science, creativity, and human experience, shaped by more than three decades as a physician, professor, researcher, and mentor, along with my work as a visual artist. My talks are grounded, thoughtful, and practical, offering meaningful ideas audiences can put into action in their lives, leadership, and spaces.

Creativity as a Way Back to Yourself
When life becomes too busy, creativity is often the first thing to disappear. This talk explores how creative engagement can restore calm, focus, and connection in daily life. It offers an encouraging and practical way to reduce stress and reconnect with what matters. It can also be adapted for conversations around mental health, neurodivergence, and trauma.
